In each one-hour conversation, The Dennis Report is nurtured and guided by my life's experiences. Work in the past includes building and managing three large volunteer organizations, researcher and writer for marketing firm, create my own consulting business, sales and marketing manager, and director of communications for a large union. Formal education includes a Masters Degree in how community is built and how people "play" (create) together. There was also a seven year involvement with provincial politics in New Brunswick. I help organize and facilitate large and small scale community "gatherings", which bring together diverse groups of people in a consensus-building process. I was a stay-at-home Dad with twin sons, who are now 26.
But to offer more insightful view, in each phase of a life's journey is a deep awareness we are all connected. My own passion for wisdom, play and the soul have guided my life and shows up in the conversations with every guest. The art of listening. The craft of a good question. The gentleness to take risk. The dance of going deep while being light. These are all examples of life's experiences in play in each interview.
